The compression is pretty extreme on this album. More extreme then any others of his.

It still fucking kills! I think with a few more albums he won't be able to be denied a subforum.

This album is bedding down now for me. Listened to it in my stereo as opposed to PC speakers, sounds a lot better and less harsh. I think I prefer the second half when there is more Clarks trademarked siney reverbed melodies. Violenl is just too much for my little ears to handle but Ache Of The North and Penultimate Persian in particular would both go on a best of Clark playlist for me.

I saw an Adult Swim bump where they were using this track, and where most of there bumps the music + visual aspect is really kind of toss-off and random, for once I thought it worked quite well. It was this weird stop-motion shit for a few seconds of like worms in apples, which seemed oddly sexual with this track in the background.

but if he's going to go all 4/4 dance i really want a full album of frau wav brief fling with the herzog synths over it and some of the twinkly bits from the end of gob coitus.
