essines lives for it.

as much as he lives for fred mcgriff's hard, throbbing manhood.

didnt somebody once post a link to a blog on here, by a western teacher working in a japanese school. maybe the same blog about the game "kancho" (or something) where the schoolkids kept trying to grab the teachers bollocks or stick their fingers up his arse (or something)

i hope somebody knows what i mean cause id like to read that again

Jr, Chen, nene .. one of you perhaps?

peter gabriel listened to my remix and liked it. and said he might use similar techniques in further work.

singlehandedly my greatest achievement.

oh, and i swallowed a capacitor and a lego man head when i was two years old. i'm pretty sure my parents still have the x-ray of the capacitor.

i remember you mentioning this, i was super fucking stoked for you m8

there are tons of blogs from teachers living in Korea/Japan/China...

Just do a search for "teacher (country) blog" and you'll get lots of them.

I try and avoid them, cause they almost all say the same thing...it's either "oooh wow look at how weird and foreign this is" or "bitch bitch bitch bitch bitch" (these tend to be from long term ex-pats, who for some inexplicable reason, have stuck around in the countries they like to complain about so much). The worst kind are from american conservatives who live over here, since they always try and apply american policy to cultures that are totally different to the American way of life, and who are so blind that they can't see that the free market philosophy as practiced in America has destroyed the economy and the social policies have ruined any sense of community that once existed.

there are the occasional gems though, so it might be worth a search.

hey it's not only an american phenomenon, I have to listen to the europeans (germans) that come here complain ad nauseum. sure there are things to complain about and I like most of the people regardless but it gets REALLY tiresome so I can relate in a sense.

edit: fucking tiresome

yeah i didn't mean to imply that it's strictly americans who do it, but they seem to be in the vocal majority.

maja: As a result of my decision to get drunk, I made a lifelong friend, got to have sexy time with a cute japanese chick and go see michael brecker play for free. Getting drunk seems to have been a pretty good choice. Yeah I could have played it safe and just done the boring boring responsible thing of landing, going to have dinner and checking in to a hotel, but what fun would that have been? Plus at 23, I was invincible, added to the fact that Japan is about the safest place in the world, i could see no reason not to go have a good time.
