Video Games What video games are you currently playing?

Been doing the Mod Nation Racers closed beta (awesome game; think Little Big Planet with racecars), and just tried the Dante's Inferno demo - great graphics, a bit derivative of God of War, but still a good hack and slash game.

Still need to finish PixelJunk Shooter!

Yeah man - I really never got into AC1 for whatever reason and the first 8 hours of ACII left me feeling blaise about the whole thing. Then something clicked and I haven't been able to put down the controller.

I think it's all the excellent improvements and the great sense of variety. Seems to play much more like an open-world game since the first one, and the bonus is that all the side missions are very entertaining in their own way. Been hunting down "The Truth" glyphs as the little viral video snippets are hella compelling. Tombs can be frustratingly difficult but I really enjoy them overall - plus you get a great sense of accomplishment when you do complete some of the harder ones.

I'm also playing Silent Hill: Homecoming. I do like it thus far.

It's surprisingly probably the goriest game I've played to date

im thinking of importing deamon's souls, is it worth it? i heard it's a crazy hard game, but people seem to love it.

sony won't release it in europe though, probably due to translation costs (since apparently the damn germans and whatnot still haven't learned english).

gamespot even gave it the game of the year award.

gamespot has been fellating the shit out of it so it's probably good. I heard some good things from a few friends too.

Yes, you should - in fact, you just gave me an excellent reason to use some of the GameStop credit I have... I've been meaning to pick this up for some time now, but worried it would be a time-suck, which I don't really have time for right now.

Assassin's Creed II - Trying to finish it, but it bores me to death.

inFamous - Ugh horrible game design. The pace is kind of fun but I hate every character and zapping enemies is boooring. I started playing this again because Amon Tobin did the music. But I'm not hearing a lot of it.

CoD:MW2 - For some mindless fragging action.

Uncharted 1 - Okish. But the shooting is lame and there's too much of it.

It's all shit. I want Uncharted 2 and that Demon's Soul.

I'm now playing Neotokyo thanks to Blanket Fort Collapse. It's pretty sick, especially for a free source mod!

They're currently sold out, but email them and find out when they'll have more in. They're great and I've never had problems ordering/dealing with them.

Amon Tobin didn't do the music, he helped produce/arrange it.

Also, if you didn't like the shooting in Uncharted 1, chances are 2's not gonna make you a believer. However, the game is amazing (IMO), and well worth a playthough or two.

been playing Rock Band with a few girls recently and now re-addicted. i have them both playing the same character when each one comes over, and they don't even know about the other, lol.

i had to state this, playing AC2, i realized...this soundtrack is one of the best ive ever heard in a video game....anyone else agree?
