Panzer Dragoon Orta.

I LOVE this game, such a unique gem. The graphics border on current gen graphics at times I think.

I'm playing a few games. GTA: Ballad of Gay Tony. Wicked game, absolutely over the top. I love how they raised the limit of how far you can fly, the city looks fucking amazing when free falling. Oh and base jumping is awesome.

Lost Planet - Pretty average action game. Laughable story. Gameplay improves a lot towards the end, but still not amazing. Great graphics in some places though.

Sega Mega Drive Collection - Whoohoo! Streets of Rage 3!!

My son's been playing this since we hacked our Wii - PS3 is broke (flashing red light) so off for repairs it goes...

Some of the videos on NSMBWii are badass... especially the 4 player one where the other three riding Yoshis never let Luigi touch the ground through the whole stage... MAD skills.

just started assasins creed (1). picked it up for 20$. so far its pretty good. the sword fighting is a little uninspired. the climbing is a little basic. after playing infamous the game shows its age. still should provide me with some entertainment until infamous drops to $20 too.

want to get left 4 dead next and still playing cod4 and gta too. finishing games is so passe. oh and i'm planning on buying braid too for xmas

Assassin's Creed 2. More of the same. Bit more varied, but at its core still very restrained gameplay with a cheesy, boring story. And although it sure is an amazing technical achievement, horrible framerates and screen tearing.

There's a Heavy Rain hands on preview on Eurogamer btw:

I'm glad I bought myself a PS3 for this game.

I need some more eccentric/leftfield games for my PS3 - I've got Flow, Flower, Noby Noby Boy, Pixel Junk Eden, Poco Loco Cocoreccho, Echochrome, Linger In Shadows and Katamari Forever but I need more (preferably with a bit more depth). Everything on PSN seems to be a variant of Tower Defence, an Arkanoid clone, or some match-three-kinds-of-thing type game.

BTW, I'm not getting .detuned - my attention wandered just watching the youtube clip

I haven't eaten a Wagon Wheel since 07/11/07... ilovecubus.co.uk - 25ml of mp3 taken twice daily.

Resistance: Retribution on the PSP.

Anyone know of anything like the DS10 (Nintendo DS) for the PSP?

Unless you've got yourself a PSP running a custom firmware, Beaterator is the closest thing you'll get to a music app:

You play the same games I do, I too like these kinds of games and want more on the PS3. I don't know what else there is though.

PixelJunk's newest game, PixelJunk Shooter, just came out last Thursday. Brilliant shooter, neat gameplay mechanics and physics.

Also, Critter Crunch is a great puzzler and will keep you occupied for hours on end. .detuned is a waste of time/money and not really a game, even less so than Linger In Shadows.

Yeah I have Critter Crunch, awesome game.

.detuned was a waste, I'm buying PixelJunk Shooter as soon as I have some money, been waiting for it since I first saw the trailer.

As an old adventure gamer I can't wait!

It looks like it'll be fucking huge (apparently the script was over 2000 pages) and I don't think it'll be boring. It'll be a very quiet game that relies on your input instead of just serving everything on a silver plate.

i just beat mgs4 and bioshock. im looking for other games now, i'm thinking about fallout3 but i want the game of the year edition and I feel like i should buy a bunch of older cheap games for the ps3.

Angelo Badalamenti wrote the soundtrack for their last game (Indigo Prophecy/Fahrenheit) so I'm keeping my fingers crossed.
