The problem is I haven't found a subbed version, there might be one out there but the DVD I have is just English dub with no option to have Czech language. That's a fucking massive annoyance when the majority of the dialogue is told with a closeup shot of a mouth.

Otherwise I recommend it!

Svankmeyer's alice is great.. he really seems to get the flow of what dreams are like.

it's not too bad actually. the 80s scifi cheese is enjoyable, as is the fact that the USSR still exists in 2010

1 . Akira ( Yeah , yeah , it's a cliche choice , but I grew up with it and I still love it to death )

2 . Princess Mononoke

3 . The Venus Wars

4 . Spriggan

5 . Ghost In Shell Shell

Ghost In The Shell and Patlabor have been headbutting for the 5th spot for quite sometime ( I always change my mind )

i haven't seen much anime, so aside from every miyazaki film, i'd add mind game and paprika.

Kick-Ass - 10/10 - I loved it. Nothing complex , a movie without an agenda , Ultraviolence. FUCK YEAH

I wanna see Kick Ass , but I'm afraid of horrific dialogue ( I cringe at some parts of the trailer )

I MIGHT see it this weekend .

I was just about to go pick up a few friends and go see this but was having second thoughts (I rarely spend 10 bucks to see a movie at the theaters)((especially not on opening night, dealing with all the dumb people)) but this puts the nail in teh coffin, going to go see it now, goodbye watmm

I fuckin' love Ghost In The Shell 2. The first one is SLIGHTLY better IMO

I didn't get Akira. But I was far too tired when I watched it.
