mononoke is good, but i think spirited away is better...one of my top 5 favorite films

After this I listened to geogaddi and I didn't like it, I was quite vomitting at some tracks, I realized they were too crazy for my ears, they took too much acid to play music I stupidly thought (cliché of psyché music) But I knew this album was a kind of big forest where I just wasn't able to go inside.

I was in US tjis summer, and eat in KFC. FUCK That's the worst thing i've ever eaten. The flesh simply doesn't cleave to the bones. Battery ferming. And then, foie gras is banned from NY state, because it's considered as ill-treat. IT'S NOT. KFC is tourist ill-treat. YOU POISONERS! Two hours after being to KFC, i stopped in a amsih little town barf all that KFC shit out. Nice work!

So i hope this woman is not like kfc chicken, otherwise she'll be pulled to pieces.

-organized confused project

Kick-Ass - 10/10 - I loved it. Nothing complex , a movie without an agenda , Ultraviolence. FUCK YEAH

QFT but I thought the dialogue, humor, darkness, goofyness, plot, pacing everything was really well done, it was definitely more than just some of the most amazingly radical ultra-violent action ive ever seen

My friends and I watched Kairo (2001) (Japanese horror movie) last night. It seemed more like a drama than an actual horror movie - mostly because of the lack of scares. There were a couple of creepy scenes but nothing much happened. Also, an hour and a half into the movie the movie froze so we downloaded a copy of the movie but that didn't do us any good since it was a corrupt file...

im too lazy and at work to think of a top 5 anime films, but these are a few you should check out.

afro samurai (yes i know its a series but it runs like a 6[?] part film)+ afro samurai 2. the characters, soundtrack and actors are spot on and some of the best i've ever seen. rza does the soundtrack. what more needs be said?

cowboy bebop (movie). the series was one of the first animes i ever watched, and still reigns supreme.

akira is really great, a must-watch even if you don't end up liking it.

3:54 - 4:17 = The 90's

lol this movie has been brought up quite a few times with homies as a nostalgic window into the pinnacle of cheesy 90s

Saw three films today...

Spirited Away. (Rewatch. Good film.) First time I was disappointed as I'd just seen Mononoke-hime, but this time I was able to appreciate it more for what it is than what it isn't. Drags a bit in the middle I guess but overall it's a satisfying journey. I jumped big time during the stair scene.

Perfect Blue. Eh. Inland Empire before Inland Empire. This would have been better live-action, as it was originally envisioned. Animation came across as lazy, and the story didn't really keep my interest. Fucking violent.

Oh and I just saw One Missed Call (a.k.a. Chakushin ari) as it was playing on SBS2. I must say, although it began off lame

I ended up being pretty impressed by the last twenty or so minutes. Not a brilliantly executed film (pretty cliche actually) but the red herrings were enough to keep me entertained and watching. The payoff is excellent.

I finally finsihed Vertigo - 7/10

I loved James Stewart and Kim Novak was beautiful! It went a bit downhill at the end though.

I'm watching Rosemary's Baby now.

check out 'africa addio' next. that ones relatively extreme. a lot of controversy surrounded it at the time of its release because they film a man getting shot and killed.. jacopetti and prosperi were certainly exploitatative, but they made some interesting films. also check out 'addio zio tom'. not a documentary but still a very extreme film.

also, a lot of the mondo cane stuff was staged

Africa Addio is insane. The poaching scene fucked my world up. They also made a movie in the 60's called "women of world", which is a lighthearted doc about.... well. women of the world.

watched this yesterday. the poaching was so brutal..

while not an actual documentary, 'addio zio tom' is filmed as one, and if you want to be shocked, id go with that one next.

if you liked 'gummo', id check out 'julian donkey boy'. also check out 'ken park'.
