tales from the script 6/10

overlong but interesting documentary on netflix play instant about screenwriting. it suffered from my own ignorance of not knowing alot of the films being discussed.

hot tub time machine 3/10

after watching the above and learning how hard it is to get a film made and all the revisions that a script go through it amazes me that a film this bad could be released. i'm also beginning to hate craig robinson. he really isnt very funny - has anyone been watching last comic standing? he must be the worst host ever. shame because i like him in eastbound and down althoguh thankfully hes not in it much.

For all the hype in here I had to watch it.

12 monkeys 7/10, It was good but I though it dragged towards the end. Still recommend it to anyone.

Afterwards I watched 2001: A Space Odyssey. Which doesnt need to be rated.

a serbian film - atop forgot to mention that this film contains a scene where a newborn is raped. anyhoo, this was pretty much a perfect exploitation film, in the sense that it exploits the audience's total lack of knowledge of serbian history so it can string together a bunch of well executed gore porn fantasies in the name of being an art film. it was a muddled attempt at an angry statement, and i really had no idea after watching it how any of the more shocking sequences in the movie were allegorical for anything. having said that, it was very well made, and i really enjoyed some of the performances. but skating by on the ignorance of an intended foreign audience is kind of deplorable, and i really doubt this is playing to serbs as anything other than a horror movie. a disappointment, then.

i've had this for about a week and havent watched it yet...... someone convince me?

i think it's safe to assume though that they don't even try to fake the imagery and so you just see some greasy dude's face going like "aww yeah babies *thrust* *thrust*" with a crying baby soundtrack.

so basically i've just shocked myself as much as the movie would, yeah?

Centurion 6/10 - alright movie, kind of enjoyable 2 really beautiful women in this flick but it was kind of boring other wise despite pretty gory violence. Speaking of movies that debuted at theaters and pay per view that I downloaded for free instead: I enjoyed Mutant Chronicles much more.

Watching 12 Monkeys for the first time in like 16 years or something right now I remember thinking it was slooow when I was like 10 we will see if maturity helps me enjoy this movie.

Anyone who like movies that are so chringy, I suggest Behind Enemy line: Colombia. For best effect watch drunk/stoned

Some one recommend me a film to watch right now. Nothing heavy and inspiring, just something I can relax and enjoy.

35 shots of rum - insanely boring, couldn't get into this one at all

ink - watched about 25 minutes of this awful shit, never seen something so BAD in all aspects for a long time, there supposed to be some kind of allegorical and clever story but that's not how you package it, unwatchable.

existenz - really cool and idm, although it seemed like it could benefit from a better budget, better production

Natural Born Killers

that would have been a good one actually, but you were too late. I watched breakfast club.
