Was meaning to catch it at the theaters, but procrastination got the better of me and found it on the interweb last night. Was very impressed, very slick looking movie and interesting idea and not the usual dumb Hollywood crap. Liked the score too.

Some of my ratings are kinda fucked up as well...

I had high hopes for Inception but it turned out to be James Bond inside a dream... what a waste

I kinda see that comparison as well as it was a regular heist kinda movie with a twist. But made for some neat action pieces. Also Joseph Gordon-Levitt was dapper as fuck. No homo.

the biggest illusion is yourself

the dunwich horror (1970)

actually quite enjoyable, nifty 70s effects, awesome music and opening title sequence. story was pretty badly mangled but it didn't really matter much.

note: contains at least one obligatory 1970s scene of young naked people running through a field. 9/10

saw Jackass 3D in a D-Box theater this weekend, definitely the way to see it. hoping to go again for whatever big action movie they have playing there next.

the descent

gossip girls stumbling about in a cave. one of them turns into rambo.

1/10

isn't this one the movie where the girls are driving around, suddenly crash with another car and a spear is projected towards one of them? it's the only thing i remember

I hated Inception a little bit as well.

I'd give it a 6/10.

Or should I say: 6 dreamlayerprojectionkicksinlimbo out of 10

i've been watching part 1-4 of this and it's been a lot more scary. even with the guy commenting.

i know im kinda spoiling the game, but it's the kinda game i rather sit and watch someone else play than play myself (since it's fucking scary).

Alien 9/10 - Such a great film, and i never realised how good the cinematography was in this film

When you're older than 20 you'll start to understand movies like Oldboy.

Get Lamp - Interviews with some of the people behind classic text adventure games as well as some super nerdy fans. The documentary was made by Jason Scott, who also made the excellent BBS: The Documentary and owns textfiles.com. I think it relies on you knowing about the games a bit more than his previous docu relies on you knowing about BBSs, so a few things I didn't really follow, only being familiar with the concept, not the games or people. Still, pretty good and worth a look if you've got an interest in games and computer history. Shouldn't be too hard to find streaming versions.
