Did a nice gluten free mix pepperoni/shiitake w/ oregano, black pepper & red pepper. Need to get some rosemary.

I left my infrared thermometer in my pizza oven and fired it up. I may or may not just have ruined my pizza oven.

I think the oven is ok. It's just the stone that is completely covered in melted plastic. New stone ordered.

If you let it cool, you might be able to scrape the plastic off.  Or perhaps try some acetone (nail polish remover) if you want to try and salvage the stone.

The new stone was 25€ so I’m ok. I’d rather spend that than worry about eating melted plastic on my next slice

Sesame seeds on the crust is an excellent idea.  I see the good in everything.

I had anchovies on a cruise ship pizza and had to toss it because of the smell.  That one looks good enough that I'd at least try it.
