top albums of the year?

black dice - repo. their best release since 'beaches and canyons'. that album still stands as being one of the greatest albums of the last ten years but after that they completely lost the plot. a lot of noodly, meandering bullshit. but this ones really good.

the flaming lips - embryonic. still digesting it but this completely kicks ass.

soisong - xaj3z. original and bizarre in the best of ways. the attention to every sonic detail is amazing. still discovering new aspects of it.

throbbing gristle - third mind movements. their best release yet.

and im sure theres a lot of good stuff that i havent heard..

Repo is amazing...

but I am going with either Jim O'Rourke's 'The Visitor' or Tyondai Braxton's 'Central Market'...

at least for right now, I need to think on this since I can't remember what happened yesterday

Clark's record perhaps....

Jega maybe...

It's been a really, really good year for music ,but so far , my favorite album of the year has got to be Clark's Totems Flare .

I plan on buying Nosaj Thing's 'Drift' and Luke Vibert's 'We Hear You' tomorrow ( we'll see where they stand )
