atlas sound - logos is my favorite album this year. no age put out a really good ep as well. haven't heard much else this year, i've been catching up on old music.

Grizzly Bear - Veckatimest probably for me. the new mastodon, isis, clark and fever ray are all way up there too. embryonic would be but it sounds like shiny metal rods rubbing up and down a tight piece of cellophane to my ears. it literally hurts me to listen to it. the music is so damn good though.

been digging this as of late. at first i had trouble taking it seriously, but i decided to give it another chance while under the influence of some pretty decent weed, and it just clicked with me. awesome stuff. (the album that is, tho the weed was good too)
