For all you wondering, I'm about two minutes in and it already has more beats than Oversteps does. The bass that kids in at about 1:30 is sick with these haunting, higher pitched, melodies in the background with this interesting buzz noise. The bass slowly gets heavier and heavier too. Proof Autechre can still bring the beats and entertain the masses with their intricate stuff live.

the high security and pricey 'uptown' venue was far from ideal (it sounded like a school hall)

the set was a very deep and hypnotic which would probably sound better in a smaller underground venue (like the music box)

well worth experiencing either way and I'm very interested in how the set will evolve over the entire tour

48 in is sick. That bit that sounds like a crying whale leading up to and into is awesome. The synth with it is awesome. That better be on the later-this-year EP.

Very much so beat oriented. This set kind of killed Soundwave microphone with the bass because you can hear a lot of "oh no can't handle WUMMMM" bass stuff.

wow - they seem to capture live sets in some kind of spiritual manner almost reflective of a stereotypical black gospel church session.. man gutted im at all the wrong coordinates from where theyll be playing live this year so I live in hope I get to hear some live recordings like this one - thanks a million mr.swav ;) enjoyed the set and its many layers looking forward to diving in again with the headphones on later! have a good day folks!
