That's not some generally accepted thing. It is a rule. Half your age plus 7, or the upper range is twice your age minus 7. My range is 24-63.

As for the topic on hand, I dunno in Canada 14 is the legal age to have sex (WITHOUT PARENTAL CONSENT, you can have it beforehand with written parental consent (seriously)).

I'm 18 too Calx and I just recently started having sex with my girlfriend. I personally decided to wait for some one I 'loved' before I had sex. In retrospect, with the amount of very attractive girls who have litterally thrown themselves at me, asking for unconditional sex with no strings attached (One girl actually gave me a slip of paper that said "Alya's V-card" (I guess they just can't resist a guy with a B-side vinyl on his face)) I feel like I should've maybe just went for it when I was 17 or something. Look, I waited way too long to lose my virginity. There's nothing to sex, or at least there shouldn't be, but I will fully agree that mystifying it for too long can lead to a few. . . complexes. I'd had plenty of opportunities, but I had always been shy and kind of analytical about things (and also a little hung up on the unrelated love aspect, since I hadn't really had a good relationship either at the time). . . and I ended up heading for the hills instead of for the sack. If I didn't end up loosing it to a girl I really cared about, and who apparently cared enough for me to help me get over the awkwardness, I can pretty much extrapolate my earlier trajectory to conclude that I'd still be a virgin, or at least someone with huge sexual hangups.

But it's just sex? You want to develop a healthy attitude about this. Don't bang some girl just to bang her and get the virginity out of the way (and the 14-15 thing sounds like trouble-- or at least really bad sex.) At the same time, don't dwell on it. If it feels right, go for it and don't second guess unless there are really obvious danger signs.

Maybe give this one a pass on account of the age, unless it's clearly legal where you are and you don't feel creepy about it. But don't analyze the shit out of things the next time it comes up, and don't shy away from opportunities.

I guess this thread is over so I'll be quick. She seems a bit young but that's up to you, as long as you aren't locked up or put on a list. I doubt her ex will try and get you in trouble if he's been hitting it too. It's good when you get to finally pork the girl you like who's been swatting your boner with a ruler for months. If you're finishing school soon I wouldn't really worry about bros before hos. One of my big regrets, so far, is obliviously shooting down a really nice girl who pursued me.
