My wife just got me one of these for my birthday (that's love yall). I'm loving the range of sounds you can get out of it. The LFO goes fast enough to oscillate. The resonance is crazy as well and self oscillates. This will be fun as hell to sample.

I ran a tr-606 through it and it was just kind of alright. I'll try the 707 later - my experience is that it sounds better through a filter.

If Korg ever discontinued these I'd buy as many as I could.

bought one of these last night, man it's a good time. I had a blast walking down the street and scaring old and young people alike with the siren sounds (though the speaker on the unit is real quiet so I had to make sure I was right next to them)

got to plugging into my main system a minute ago and wheeeeeee this thing has some fat bass :emotawesomepm9:

I did these on the Monotron;

All the drum/percussion sounds were made on the Monotron & sampled into Reason 5's Kong. I then knocked up a little beat & fed this back into the Monotron, recording the resulting noise back into Record & mixing everything together.

It's good for drones as well. This is done by taking the output & sticking it straight back into the aux input. With a splitter on the output you can send the resulting signal to be recorded. Some reverb & phase FX were added from Reason 5. The Monotron is a fantastic little box ;)

I can't see why it couldn't.

Some songs I made with my fingers and electronics. In the process of making some more. Hopefully.
