Hmm didn't really know the self oscillation on the filter is so loud. Not really handy for aux inputs ah well.

buy a compressor with some of that money you didnt spend on the monotron

Having to over compress a signal because of what sounds like a ridiculous sudden increase in volume would be lame. I wanted to use the oscillator live on all sorts of shit. Still can't find software oscillator for audio. I guess I should give the Korg Kaoscillator a look hear see.

? Anyone disagree that this is a consistent problem? I would love to hear that you can get around having to have a strong noticeable compressor reducing an extreme sudden decibel increase. I want a crazy oscillator like effect on the cheap that I can use in my effects chain during performances (not necessarily as much for recording all though I would use it for that too)

Is there really no software (audio) oscillators that have a similar effect? I have looked around quite a bit.

Seriously there has to be a audio oscillator VST that's close to as cool I could just assign as a knob on my MPD. Common nerds, please make my dreams cum true.

I'm willing to travel globally to perform analingus on anyone who informs us of a comparibly radical audio oscillator VST.

(Peanut butter farts, alaskin pipelines or snuggiesutra could also be used as compensation)

or he could try the korg legacy ms-20 vst.

Some songs I made with my fingers and electronics. In the process of making some more. Hopefully.

Wasn't easy but I think I found working rip of the MS-20FX VST. Really hoping this is a bad ass effect, thanks for the suggestion! (If this is really as cool as I've been hoping for... I suppose I will have to honor my word of willingness but, I never said I would pay for the airfare btw)

as i recall it's over this. the ms20fx's lp/hp combo is great for bringing things to a smooth roar. then all hurdy durr, let's plug this into this? more noise

^thanks, mon!

I found this file on my computer recently. I was listening to Suicide in a very intoxicated state and then started "improvising" on this cheesy beat i made on Modplug Tracker. Surprisingly there's actually quite a nice droney melody going on after about 1½ mins

fuck this really cool Monotron inspired VST came out which sounds awesome but doesn't take an audio input for modulation

I gotta see if there is anyway to make the MS-20 VST oscillate audio better or something god damn't why doesn't the VSTRON take an audio channel!!!!#j23[40rj[nt'f0p-gikjgnq'rg lmag;klmb'mzadf ogbkqa

I was screwing around with my Monotron in my yard last Friday, and apparently left it outside. Over the weekend, we got two really hard rainstorms storms and wind... brought the thing in and freaked the fuck out (I don't have money to replace it), whilst taking it apart to make sure everything was dry. Looked good, so I put it back together and it still works! Sounds much more harsh now, which is fantastic :emotawesomepm9:

TLDR: put your monotron outside during a rainstorm or stick it in the wash. Instant free, effortless mod.

:cisfor:
