Perfect Autechre Moments.

Recommended Posts

The section about four minutes into 444 when all the instruments drop out save for that probing synth melody, recontextualizing it as a VI-I progression rather than VI-IV.

Reborn? Where was the first iteration? (I'm new here, remember.)

And you got here before me, tipper. I had thoughts of making a thread dedicated to the CLUNK in 'V-PROC' at ~1:27.5 (depending on your rip, possibly). That's my nomination for Perfect Autechre Moment.

i dig it. i checked all those out. from Oversteps:

Treale 1:48 - 4:43, inc. 4:43 - end

r ess: 2:32-2:34 (that far off siren sound, repeats a few times again)

ilanders: 1:50 chord switch

os veix3: :14-:19 (first melody that fades to nothing...)

O=0 2:24-2:34 (the last note in that phrase that waits- 2:31 to 2:34)

st epreo - every thwack!

Yuop: 2:09-2:17 heavy semi-distorted synth line

1a- The part in nuane where the synth echoes out, thus beginning the the track's decay from matter to pure radiation.

1b- halfway into key nell 2 when that reedonkulous beat drops.

i can't be bothered finding out the times, but:

- the keychange in krYlon

- the part in parhelic triangle where the beats fade and the pretty melody plays a couple of times before the beat comes back in a 'shlooop'. best moment of confield imo.

- the ending of piezo

- the chord progression at 2:25 in O=0, fuck! it evolves so perfectly.

- all of cipater and cichli

6:28 --surripere

that little noise is the start of the next element part of the track, and it just adds a whole new sense of space in the landscape from the stuttering rhythms of the last couple of minutes. It's so great.

The build up to the immense rush of percussion in the beginning of Netlon Sentinel coupled with that rush. It's like a roller coaster.

The intro in Piezo and Slip.
