...It was Pho Tai Chin (Rare beef and brisket)!

This sounds good. I'll try this whenever I go... Still haven't yet since I don't have many friends that would want to go with me. My wife doesn't want to try it and I don't want to go alone! OH WAIT... I'll ask my neighbor with the hot red bone wife!

Sometimes the brisket is iffy (chewy/dry). I'd probably start with just your standard rare beef. You can judge a place pretty well on the quality of the rare beef.

Hate to break it to all you would-be poets, but it's pronounced Fah.

After this I listened to geogaddi and I didn't like it, I was quite vomitting at some tracks, I realized they were too crazy for my ears, they took too much acid to play music I stupidly thought (cliché of psyché music) But I knew this album was a kind of big forest where I just wasn't able to go inside.

- lost cloud

I was in US tjis summer, and eat in KFC. FUCK That's the worst thing i've ever eaten. The flesh simply doesn't cleave to the bones. Battery ferming. And then, foie gras is banned from NY state, because it's considered as ill-treat. IT'S NOT. KFC is tourist ill-treat. YOU POISONERS! Two hours after being to KFC, i stopped in a amsih little town barf all that KFC shit out. Nice work!

So i hope this woman is not like kfc chicken, otherwise she'll be pulled to pieces.

cummon, it's all phonetic and in english that would be close enough to phonetically correct spelled out (which it was). i don't even know why i am bothering with this cause i am on your side.

Guest Deep Fried Everything

fred. you (and everyone else who is capable of making soup) should make your own pho.

i've just started doing this in the past few months and it's just as delicious, and better sometimes, than anything i've ever eaten at a vietnamese restaurant. and between chicago and pittsburgh, there are some fantastic vietnamese restaurants. find a good hookup for beef soup bones and oxtail bones.

I've never eaten pho

Some songs I made with my fingers and electronics. In the process of making some more. Hopefully.

  • 2 weeks later...

what's the guess as to how many calories are in a large bowl of pho? i have been eating way too much of it lately and want to make sure it is not the reason i am getting fat.

You HAVE to put the Hoisin sauce in there, some Sriracha too!

You gotta boil the bones and stuff to get the real Pho flavor!

Re the marrow bones, your tastier phos are going to have a goodly amount of fat and quite a few calories, but I don't think it's anything especially egregious. Lots of good stuff in there, too. But it's not low calorie by any means, so if it's contributing to you eating more calories a day than you're burning off, yeah, you're going to gain weight.

All I'm saying is, it ain't a rice cake. It's basically a full meal.
