thanks to analogue wings for the insight. i'm glad you took the time to reply.

genuine thanks to PSN, i kind of figured that was what it did - i guess just wondered what the tolerance on the sync input is like. whether it has to be a loud sharp transient to get it to move on. i think my juno has a sync that i've never every bothered with, maybe i'll dig it out and experiment this weekend.

218€ euro must be the exact price which makes me both like "damn, this is right above my budget  " and "well... i could afford it :emotawesomepm9:"

surely they choose this pricing for that precise reason.

looks like ton of fun.

plus i just realised korg stole the name from me, i made a track with electribes and a monotron called monotribe weeks before there were any rumours of this thing

so it´s destiny, must. get. one

I need some warm-up before I yield to the temptation :nacmat:

I preordered one... Will report back if/when I receive it.

monotribe arrived today!

So far seems like a superfun toy, and definitely more usable than the monotron.

Basic acidhouse type tracks i think would be entirely within your reach with this machine...

Plus it's portable, runs on batteries, has an internal speaker... Not sure if it'll make it on studio tracks yet, but will certainly be using live alongside the x0xb0x and machinedrum...

I got mine a few days ago. It's a fun little box, but would benefit immensely from indi outs for the drums and synth. CV/gate in and drum mods would make it very dangerous, but as is I think I'll just sample and the sell it.
