stupid first world problems you're dealing with

Recommended Posts

yesterday at the synth store i work at (opening day) someone told me he could set up his laptop and pull tracks off tidal. i asked if tidal was still a thing and he said "hell yeah it's still very much a thing".   i had to walk away as my eye roll would be too obvious and i was afraid it would make me also fall over.

so after listening to this album: https://schematicmusiccompany.bandcamp.com/album/by-syl-kouga i decided to purchase the entire schematic bandcamp discography for $39 and now i have to deal with dling/unzipping 65 albums to add them to my home digital collection (and subsequently google play music)

but fuck that's a killer record and who knows what else is out there on schematic that i haven't heard before.

goddam you bandcamp

 You made a good decision

Just recently got into participating in online surveys for extra scratch. But it seems like 2 out of every 3 that I select I get disqualified from.

Very much a hit-and-miss gig. Kinda like fishing innit.

To keep it real and analog, I'm gonna start posting to WATMM by writing my posts in fountain pen on hemp paper, putting them in bottles, and throwing them into the ocean.

HAHAHAHA MY TIME HAS COME

https://github.com/iheanyi/bandcamp-dl

Did the music for a commercial but my client had been misinformed. The end-client wanted something completely different so I worked all night on something that ended up sounding like complete garbage. Plus, because of this I missed seeing my sister who was visiting with my little niece.

Fuck work.

Hardcore gabber for a tampon commercial.  I can see how that might be miscommunication by the director.

Why, yes I am. Damn i wanna listen to some Tamphex now!

So a big first world pet peeve of mine is when people talk unnecessarily / excessively / randomly about drinking or drinks. I have zero judgement of drinkers, I drink moderately here and there (used to much more often), and many of my friends are regular drinkers. I don't know what it is, but I just have this thing that makes me wanna to roll my eyes/sigh/curse people out in my mind when they brag about drinking hard or... The worst... When its Friday and your co-worker derails a serious group topic and confesses "uggh I just want a drink now", "omg its Friday, i can't wait for the day to end so i can grab a drink".... All i can think in that moment is OH GAWD SHUTTHEFUCKUPPPPPP. But instead i just fake laugh "haha heh yeeah"

AH FUCK I think I finally came down with a cold after over a year of no sickness whatsoever.  Here I thought my immune system had finally achieved god status.

What an odd coincidence. I'm in the very same boat.

Good thing I already have the next four days off from work.

Strangely enough, I woke up the next day with 0 symptoms.  I was certain I'd caught it this time for sure.  Maybe my immune system really has reached god status.  My friend who I hang out with practically every other day is fluing stupid hard.

FWP I need to get up in 7 hours but I want to watch some TV before bed.  That would lead to me not getting a satisfactory amount of sleep.
