Fairly watchable trash and probably good that it is only a 6 part series

yeah they could've done 2 episodes instead of one on early prehistory, but overall a rare piece of enlightened reporting on Irish history from a British broadcaster

Going to carry on watching Disenchantment, there's some good bits in there, maybe more than new Simpsons has.

Sue and Mel present or host all kinds of things on UK TV, Mary has her own professional baking career and I think judges on some other cooking competition show now.

It's only aired on Channel 4 for one season last year and currently airing season 2. It's alright, Sandi and Noel are fun presenters. Prue has absolutely no presence though, and the Paul Hollywood handshake has lost all value with how often he does it. Just the same light-hearted watching really.

Yeah I binged watch Season 5 (Netflix) which is Season 8 in the UK.

 

Wholesome as fuck, one of the most mellow and polite shows in existence. Great way to clear your mind.

First episode of AHS season 8 was entertaining, seems even more off the wall than usual, and this season will cross over with Murder House and Coven.

Watched the pilot for Preacher last night and quite enjoyed it.  Used to read the comic when I was a young'un.

 

Problem is my Amazon Prime expires next month and I wasn't going to renew it... now I have 3 series of this to watch in a couple of weeks.  FML

Started Fargo Season 3. Enjoying it but it's got an odd vibe to it - even though it's 2010 some of the characters feel plucked from the 70s. I'm a sucker for the franchise though, same dark humor-tinged villains versus aloof/ goofy but morally sound citizens.

Exactly this. Loved the first two seasons so much, but season three wasn't really doing anything for me at all to the point that I almost stopped watching.

 

Then the second half happened.

The writing is actually insanely prescient when it comes to today's current events, too. It's incredible.

Just finished Ozark. I was already a fan of Bateman and Garner (if anyone here is a fan of sci-fi and hasn't seen Everything Beautiful Is Far Away yet, I'm totally recommending it), but their rolls in this show have built up my admiration for them both quite a bit.

It took me about a week to get through the first couple of episodes, but when I hit S1E04, I couldn't stop watching. I watched the last half of season one in 3 days and the whole second season in the last 2.

The atmosphere is right up my ally, the plot kept me completely engaged... Even the music hit all the right spots for me.

I'm really looking forward to season 3.

Is 8 the latest one? I got a bit through the film set one and couldn't being myself to continue. Haven't decided whether to bother with the latest one yet.
