My biggest problem with Iradelphic is that the track title "Broken Kite Footage" is disgustingly precious and self-involved. It conjures up someone watching footage of themselves flying a broken kite when they were a kid and welling up and getting all sentimental.

Drane2 sounds more metallophone than banjo to me, but maybe that's because this

I can understand complaints like these when it's like Tycho or The Flashblub where nearly everyone of their titles on their albums were unoriginal, cheeseball serious nostalgia... It adds up to become a consistent joke and the titles lose all potential to seem artistic.

When you are only complaining about one song title that actually sounds pretty fitting for a really nice track... I think the titles makes sense, he doesn't take himself too seriously, the package works, he pulls the title off etc. etc. in my opinion.

yeah, the bibio vibes are strong on this album.

the point is the album is not even out and you are already writing it off because of the one you stole. most of us here have been Clark fans for longer than youve been out of diapers and respect him enough to give it a chance after we get the ones we bought. you don't have to like it but don't say people are gay for trying to keep the party going when the party didn't even start yet.

Hahah the album won't get better or worse just because you respected your principles. And how can you know if you've been a fan for longer than me? Not to say it isnt true but for one, you don't know shit about that, and two, that doesnt change anything, you''re not more or less fan than me. I also buy the albums,

I think I'm going to like it a lot as well. Yesterday I was weak and pumped it over the internet, I've listened to it once and I'm fine with the new direction. Somewhat it's imo not surprising at all, and very natural that this album goes there. Absence was a good transition to this album also. And even if some are disappointed by the lack of electronic mental shit (so far I loved the electronic in it and thought it's pretty mental btw), I also see this album as the opening of Clark to a new musical space, and I imagine that in some days he would be bringing all the different directions he dug together and it could be epic.

I still need to listen to it more, but I'm pretty confident with Clark and his future. More than Squarepusher, for the record.

i think it's just Ghosted that i dislike.

Tooth Moves is a fine track, this could easily very easily be mistaken for BOC campfire era, its up there, well done Clark! class album!
