up to 10 days prior to release date to ensure that they reach them on

or before the Monday of release....

Do they only do that with 12"s? I always get everything from them a week after release. it sucks

shipped, apparently. but no shipment email yet. looked because i spotted amazon have the edition with enstrobia for £10.20, and bleep's total price was a few quid more than this. would have cancelled, but couldn't.

It was a nice welcome home from work to have this in my porch. I'm gonna give it a few listens before saying much but I very much like Drax 2.

Very happy so far.

:doge: Jet fuel can't melt dank memes :doge:

Got the vinyl and CD today. Don't dare open the big box yet but I'm going to have to. Having not bothered with any leaks I'm looking forward to diving into this when I finish work tomorrow morning. I'm a bit slack ordering the Japanese CD though (and skint).

daaaamn. gonna have to check local record stores and see if they've got it in yet. I'm confident that I'll find it since they had JAS and d'Demonstrator (as well as recent ae stuff)

Ugh I know it doesn't matter really, but it always amazes me how music journals refuse to fact check. Two little mistakes in one paragraph that even a casual fan can notice is just lazy and unprofessional. Makes me not want to read it. Do they think we don't notice?

His earliest records (Feed Me Weird Things and Music Is Rotted One Note in particular) are prime examples of the sort of hyperkinetic electronica that came to define Warp Records(feed me weird things not on warp) glory years. Throughout the Noughties, his output became increasingly diverse. Pic’n’mix selections Ultravisitor and Hello Everything really brought Jenkinson’s astonishingly virtuoso bass playing to the fore. Last year’s (it was released in 2010) skewed ensemble effort Shobaleader One: d’Demonstrator showed Jenkinson navigating an idiosyncratic path between the acoustic and the digital.

So are those people who lambasted the last two or three albums happy now? If not, they never will be. Ufabulum is shit-hot.

For me it seems to get better with every listen...

Nah, you're a wee child who can't wait for official release. Embarrassing. Shove your privilege.

same. I am honored to listen to this tome of dense rhythmic electronic mindfuckery, melody, and imagination which has been carefully prepared by the master.

on an existential note, I notice we have been listening to these idm guys for a long time. since the 90s they paved the way for much of our musical and mental lives. so on a certain level i'm just happy that SP is still putting out albums every year or two. I actually really question the idea that his music ever "dropped off." i love go plastic, but his albums since have all remained unique expressions and compositions. on top of being original and authentic, they have all been really just exquisitely crafted, masterfully, and i think we have to appreciate that. it's easy to take it for granted.

i don't know who the next generation of innovators will be, but for now i still don't see anyone doing anything on this level, though comments around here wwould suggest this "sound" has gone out of style, that the masters have aged into irrelevancy. i'm definitely not sure about that. i think the culture has changed drastically. that's about it.

pointless, embarrassing thoughts.

I think it's been a while since a Squarepusher album had such a positive response here (although I may be mistaken, haven't checked too much of this thread in a while). But is anyone else picking up hints of Shobaleader in Panic Massive and Unreal Square? And I've little to no doubt this is Jazz, but I love the Sqpr logo on the slipcase.

Fuck it, this is an ace album.
