i have a friend that constantly posts visual musical puns and gags and whatever. whilst it's cool as with the spirit of this thread, i don't give a fuck, just post original content, how are you, if you are good, what are you doing, photographs, all the usual shit, no i don't care what you ate, who cares who fucking tagged you i don't know them, facebook stop changing my latest posts setting to your crappy 'most important because an algorithm designed to boost paid advertisements said so which kind of doesn't work when you don't have any pages friended that are of the ilk for which it was designed to boost up your list.'.

the definition of pride, btw, is

: a feeling that you respect yourself and deserve to be respected by other people

: a feeling that you are more important or better than other people

: a feeling of happiness that you get when you or someone you know does something good, difficult, etc.

This is the definition I was using, particularly the second part ("...with whom one is closely..."). But yeah the definitions there are pretty close.

Do people still write stuff on your facebooks? I think everybody on mine now communicates through buzzfeed articles and dumb vines/other videos.

These two pages are bait created by people I know. They are made to troll the dumbest of the dumb Facebook users and have provided me with many lols. To anyone with a brain, it's obvious that these pages are jokes, and yet, because of the subject matter, they manage to successfully bait so many idiots into going on angry rants on the pages. Just look at some of the comments on some of those posts. They have a few sockpuppet accounts they use to continue to troll the discussion sin the comments sections.

an old school 90s rapper Cool C was supposed to be executed tomorrow... I never seen so many people wishing death upon someone who they never heard of! They just want to see another black man die.

Saw these on facebook today.

i don't believe in execution so it's good that it got stayed again. He did kill a single black mother who was also a police officer in a shootout whilst trying to rob a bank, and on top of that i looked up his clips on the ytub and he was a pretty terrible rapper, so whatever. Glad he gets to spend more time in the pokey, i don't know that he'd be a menace to society after all these years, as long as he doesn't rap anymore they should save some tax dollars and let him out.

Some guy on my facebook posted that "all zoos exist only to make a profit" blah blah blah... to which I responded to him with the facts that Canadian zoos are publicly funded and have not turned a profit, ever.

He responds with some hostile juvenile post that "we all have our values and I make a rule of not inserting my opinion on other peoples posts" and then deleted what I wrote because he was obviously wrong.

A) I only responded with fact

B) why post your point of view in a public forum if you don't want public response?

My own uncle unfriended me! I only found out because I was looking for a pic of my dad on his page and realized I had no access to his photos... and yet he's friends with both my sisters and one of my old friends!

In all fairness, his wife and I never got along.

I realized today that my best friend's roommate unfriended me. This is a person that also was wanting to hang out two days ago. I'm so confused.
