After a really shit start to 2019 (work stuff) I'm off on vacation and headed to a nice resort in Dominican. Time for unlimited booze, bad decisions, and 30+ degrees weather. <3

Thanks all, feels good to finally have resolution, however sloppy. No idea if I'll ever get a diploma but this works just fine.

Yeah I'd like to pretend that crop of "Overall Cumulative GPA" was intentional but alas, just a happy accident!

Congrats! If it's any consolation, I was never sent a diploma when I graduated. The important thing is that your degree shows up on a background check when you try to get a job.

I thought it was a cheeky and clever allusion to how happy you are you didn't get completely shafted with the school closing!

I've just killed my fifth mouse using traps. I swear I've never had a mouse problem at my place until last December. One of the little bastards chewed up the wood from the cabinet underneath my bathroom sink. Some might consider this savagery, but I couldn't allow the infestation to continue unabated. Besides, the traditional spring-loaded swing bar traps are pretty much an instant kill. Hopefully that was the last one.

I watched the original transformers movie cartoon yesterday. My friend was shocked I'd never seen it. It was p good

It was pretty next level for an animated movie directed at kids.  I remember really loving the GI Joe one too - would be curious to see that one again.

it was a lot better than i expected.

lol at weird al's song, dare to be stupid, in the movie. also, eric idle did the voice of one of the robots.

Spent all day preparing a 3000 word report/case study for class. But now I have a week off until my next classes start. =)

Exhausted from how busy it's been but looking forward to a couple days of rest. 

I"M FINALLY BACK HOME, FOR THE FIRST TIME SINCE FEBRUARY!!!

Some of you guys might recall from the problems thread and from talking about it on discord that my place had a fire in Februrary... It's been a month and half since the electrical fire in our building on February 15th, probably the longest month and a half of my adult life. We didn't lose anything in the fire, but our apartment was declared "temporarily unlivable" as they had to rebuild the entire power grid for our wing of the building, clean our carpets, replace our fridge, etc. After spending 10 days at my parents house and a month in an extended stay suite at the Residence Inn in Plymouth, it feels amazing to finally be back home. I missed my own bed, and my TV, and my instruments. Gonna sleep like a log tonight.
