stupid first world achievements and successes

Just curious, what don't you like about a 7AM start time? I think that's great - you avoid rush hour both ways, early enough to hit up errands before you go home before every store is a zoo etc. 

I am lucky enough to make my own schedule and chose 10am-6pm just for those reasons. 

GODDAMN FUCKING UTINES IF I WANTED YOU TO FUCKING SYNC ALL THE GODDAMN SONGS THAT WERE EVER PREVISOULY IN A PLAYLIST ID TEL YOU TO FUCKING DO THAT IM TRYING TO GET SOMETHING THAT, YES WAS IN A PLAYLIST WITH MANTY OTHER THINGS PREVIOUSLY BUT ROGHT NOW IM SELECTING JUST THESE TWO RIGHT NOW, ONTO MY GODDAMN PHONE DONT FUCKING TRY TO UPLOAD THE OTHER GODDAMN 83 TRACKS THAT YOU HAVE SOMEHOW ASSOCIATED WITH THESE 2 AGAIN. I feel ur pain, srsly.

My favourite is when you don't have quite enough space for an album so it 'ghosts' a random track on the album. So you make space and it won't update. So then you delete the whole album from phone and add it again. Then it goes through all the motions of exporting it to your phone, only to find it didn't. And won't.

Similar annoyance - I shelled out for a custom 400gb iPod classic, not knowing the software architecture has issues past 256gb. So occasionally tracks just disappear entirely and you have to "rebuild the device database" which takes a bloody hour to do.

Both Memgland tapes have sold from the Lobster Records store and now the guy is emailling me asking for more :^)

this is why i stay away from all these new sync devices thingies... being it mail or images or music, it's a no no  for me... i'll do it old school copy/paste...

Did the visual effects on the new Boerd video.

I've seen too many instances of data getting corrupted or needlessly duplicated because of syncing issues. I'll keep systems unaware of each other, thank you very much.

Thanks! Nothing set in stone yet, but I'll share news as more of it comes through. Pretty excited for what's to come.

I've been losing weight since switching to eggs for breakfast. 3 or 4 in the morning lasts me all day. Haven't weighed this amount in years.

Isn't it scary when you flip upside down in the water?

I'm not a fan of the water, I can't swim.

Had a rock in my shoe all day but I was too busy to take it out... Finally got home and took my shoes off.... Ah yes....

When people say they can't swim, what do you mean? All you have to do to keep your head above water is wave your arms and legs around.

It was calm glacial runoff water. Paddling wasn't as difficult as I expected, but I don't know yet what it's like to flip a kayak. But I might get official kayak pool training for that very scenario if I decide to take it seriously enough.
