Yeah I watched that too, I like the naked chicks (rewind & pause several times) . The music definitely sounds interesting to me at least, i love those voices. So many good releases this year from Warb.

Listened to Vista. It's not that experimental but it's still really nice. I like it a lot. Can't wait for this.

Vista: Sounds more like a departure from Clark's Totems Flare than from the last Jackson album (from eons ago)

Yeah that's a really great track, but but the dynamics in that kick drum that comes in around 45 secs (side-chained with a lot of the rest of the track I think?) just make it a real strain to listen to. I got ear fatigue within about 2 minutes of it and seemed to spoil what seemed to be a really well produced rest of the mix.

If this is the new way Warp are mastering their tracks I'm oot.

The track beginns at 3:00 to get really epic otherwise its pretty "normal" i would like to have much more changes going on in the background !

2:33 - 2:49 sounds like a little cheeky nod to Justice

Nice track, but I liked Vista a lot more. Probably because it had more changes and what not.

Vista is smooth as fuck! You can tell he labored over this one; the arrangement is lovely!

dont like this new track at all, sounds way less experimental than his debut album for warp to me. Very cheesy sounding sound palette, not a fan. Sounds like he's using those same type of presetty synths a lot of videogame composers use these days. Maybe he needs to start getting stuck in k-holes again?

I heard some "demos" a few years ago (Summer 2010) that were SO different than this stuff. I'd even call it Baroque-like electronic chamber music. Tons of orchestra samples cut up with his usual beat fuckery. Super weird and proggy, but also impenetrable in a way. I've heard a bit more of the LP as well, back in March and it is more along these lines. Of course I was hearing it through laptop speakers, so, grain of salt.

After listening to both tracks I see the direction, he got a bit away from his usual setup. My last proper JACB experience was his great and overseen remix he did for Kavinsky on a limited picturedisc. The other remix is rubbish, just bought it for JACB alone.

Back to topic, shouldn't there be a 12inch with the title G.I. Jane?
