Exactly - Even Richard dabbled in this absurdity (Come To Daddy, Windowlicker), but he didn't build his musical presence on it - it's one thing to do a pisstake here and there, versus fully embracing it as DA has done and allowed it to represent them rather than their music. It speaks to how shallow and not very good their music actually is if they have to mask it in pseudo-gore and hypersexualized imagery.

Die antwoord to me, is an over the top piss take on modern pop culture, that's half joke / half serious attempting at breaking into the mainstream. some of the songs have sick moments and production, but to me it just puts a smile on my face song after song. the songs are so silly and spot on with their clean straight forward big awesome riff production that its impossible not to find it hilarious and brilliant. which is why i find it so weird to see people hate on it. it's an attempt to break into the mainstream with a stupid image and stupid songs to back them up. how can something so silly be hated ??

I was the one comparing and they were bigger than now as it should. Not that her tits are any sort of spectacular anyway, just nice body with a bit of nice high placed tits flavour. The hypersexualised behaviour kills its charm anyway.

lol, we're such prudes. Sure that single is a complete dud musically and it makes you question the sanity of a band that would ok it's release. But if the alexx taco track is cool well i'll be cool. I was never into them in the first place (apart from enjoying some of their aesthetic meanderings) so it's not like there's much to live up to when the noise hits these ears.
