As for the Snoke vs Plagueis theory, it may not be as convincing as you first thought.

Consider my comment on the youtube theory:

movie was actually good but it lacks of many details, new ideas "a deathstar for the 3rd time haha srsly ?" the bad guy looked liked a renaissance painter and his master like gollum.

sadly it can get worser just watch the new Star Trek Trailer :(

for those who can read Spanish, excellent article criticising the movie. makes me feel more excited about the possibility of a redlettermedia review than episode VII tbh

I thought they stated that they'd been paid off so wouldn't be rude about it, they were very explicit about it at the end of their preliminary review that they post ed directly after having seen it.

you took that seriously?

Take that statement and apply it to yourself, that said I wouldn't be surprised if they didn't get sprinkled a little from that giant salt shaker of influence peddling marketing money that disney have.

I mean, if they did...

wouldn't you be calling them out as being the despicable shitbags they would be if they did take that offer? Obviously they didn't, because if they did there's no fucking way the deal would include them tagging on some really passive-aggressive housewife type slant tacked on the end.

!! Do you understand marketing, its influence peddling to targeted groups and isn't a one size fit all solution. These guys if they were paid would be allowed a longer leash, but the overall impression you would pay them to leave would be positive.

That said one would hope that they didn't take money, no matter how tempting dem big dollars be.

didnt know you speak spanish mixl2, good to know. And yeah, Jotdown is almost always on point. Kinda lame that the guy had to write the article in list form, which always strikes me as lazy writing. Still a good read

i think ep7 is kind of film where plotholes and storywriting conveniences are tucked away behind every corner or so.. but the overall package was enjoyable and delivered well enough that i dont have the interest to dissect the film too heavily. it wasnt like the end package was a steaming pile of mess.

compared to say, the plotitics heavy prewuels, that are both boring and complete and utter gibberish the more u try n dissect. i cant imagine a plinkett review coming out and changing my opinion on this one any time soon.

((who the fuck are the seperatists?? why does noone on jedi council etc. question the abandunce of clones?? why is there civil war again in episode 2-3 ?? gahhhhhhhhhjjjjjggfjdvij

You're not expecting a new review besides the existing half in the bag review, are you?

The only reason... Well probably i guess.. For the long disections of the presequels to exist was the popularity combined with the awfulness of the prequels. And since theyve alteady said what they think of this one (positive review?), i dont think theres going to be another one of those disections.

A movie has to be prequel bad/popular to have some kind of entertaining scene by scene disection. And theyve already mentioned the grapes they have with this one halfway down the bag. They could make a commentary track, i guess. Anyone ever tried one of those?

yeah, I agree. the point of my post was, that the article which i linked (in spanish sadly) brought up a lot of material which i'd love to hear being anal-ysed by mr.plincket. im not expecting that to happen, but id love to see it... more than episode VII in a way.

regardless, i still liked the movie quite a lot after watching it. I guess I am too young and dumb to appreciate cinema properly.
