He was pretty much Trump in WALL-E

another legend. such a  great niche he had. RIP. 

I met him at a party once and was way too excited to start a real conversation with him. I regret that now. He seemed like a super sweet, gentle dude. 
Masterfully funny. Big loss.

News coming in that Michel Piccoli died last Tuesday, at the blessed age of 94.

Kraftwerk in general always had this sincere face value to it - what you hear is what you get - and this comically efficient interview with Florian reminds me of that

Gutted.  So many brilliant films; Alien, LOTR, Brazil, etc.  the list is endless.  Brits are by far the best actors on Earth.  RIP

Lost Boys. Falling Down. 8mm and that damn "Come To Daddy" scene. Rather iconic director, up there with Tony Scott in terms of making even their most middle of the road blockbusters visually engrossing - I've become rather fond of his ridiculous Batman films especially.
