Celebrity Deaths

Recommended Posts

just did a quick check and the mother's name reported in that article is actually the name of a weekly magazine that previously reported kimura's death (they even got the spelling wrong, it's shukan bunshun, not bunshin)

reporting these days - this is starting to smell fake

shit i'm too slow at typing, intended to edit my previous post, not bombard this thread with shit no one gives a shit about. anyway

i didn't even notice the article mentions shukan bunshin as being kyoko kimura's mother, when kyoko is in fact hana's mum. my guess is this is a very bad transcription of a japanese article and they got it all wrong, or something

yeah this is better already: https://www.webisjericho.com/hana-kimuras-mother-exposes-reality-show-incident-that-led-to-daughter-taking-own-life-was-staged/

ok so the mum spoke to that magazine and claimed the 'incident' was staged, which was confirmed by the dude who was involved in it

not 'fake news' then. might be a lie from the mum and said dude but rather unlikely

i promise i'll check my info before posting next time. hope that was entertaining nonetheless

My all time favourite film composer, dead at a completely reasonable age.  Sad nevertheless.  RIP.

Was listening to the Forbidden Photos of a Lady Above Suspicion soundtrack earlier this week, and considering doing a cover version of this one:

Here's a decent writeup for anyone unfamiliar with him:

not only was his work phenomenal, but I don't think I've ever seen a Morricone-scored film that wasn't brilliant. he seemed to have a knack for only touching the good stuff.

or maybe I've just not watched enough of them

but yes, RIP genius.

so much amazing music.. RIP!!!

do we have an ennio morricone thread?

this humble carefree track has always been one of my favorites.  listen to the end for a phat synthesizer pulse.. that sort of unexpected instrumentation is an aspect i have alwys loved in his music
