ahh so it's not polished granite. doesn't look that bad. and those draws look so schmick, i guess my kitchen is so shithouse that yaknow i have an high tolerence for anything that isn't. I'm unable to tune into the microgradients in between good and better available to the minds of those that live with good to better kitchens. Still i'm pretty judgemental when watching escape to the country, well so i thought, i don't know anymore. heh.

I think it is polished granite, the sparkly bits are probably bits of quartz or something. Whatever it is, the speckles always look like crumbs and it annoys the fuck out of me. It is a nice kitchen though, renting a fancy place at the moment, got a good deal on the place due to knowing the owner, would be well above what I could afford normally.

I had swordfish with avocado aioli, sweet + spicy red cabbage slaw, fried plantains and jasmine rice. Green Flash West Coast IPA to drink.
