It's hard to narrow it down, but I think my top 5 are:

1. Frank Ocean - Blonde

2. Pilotredsun - achievement

3. Suzi Analogue - Zones V2

4. DJ Diamond - Footwork or Die

5. Blaz - Don't Listen To This

 

tough to choose! I could do a top 10 easily, but these are the ones I absolutely played the most this year.

Honestly wasn't that big of a year album-wise for me. Here's what I think was really good

 

Sendai - Ground and Figure

Demdike Stare - Wonderland

Konx-om-Pax - Caramel

Datach'i - System (+ bonus disc. I think the bonus disc is better than the album but anyway)

Lorn - VESSEL (technically released the last days of 2015, so I dunno if this should count)

M. Geddes Gengras - Two Variations

exm - overscore

Julien Bayle - ALPHA

Fat Nick - When The Lean Runs Out

I'll be selecting poll entries based on the top citations, cos there are way too many one-off picks (hell, my #1 is one of them) for a comprehensive poll. don't do a sad if your pick misses out. alternatively, if there's enough noise from enough people to include one I'll see about adding it in.
