this recording alone is absolutely, completely disqualifying. because it's trump abusing power to weaponize DOJ to steal a damn election. a phone call with georgia secretary of state brad raffensperfer on jan 2, 2021. trump asks raffensperger to find him 11,000 votes and threatens him and his lawyer with legal action by doj

simultaneous to that he was plotting with jeff clark to have doj send a letter to states like georgia saying the election was tainted and they should throw the decision for how to cast their electors to their state legislatures. he tried to fire acting attorney general Jeffrey Rosen on Jan 3, 2021 but Rosen and several other top DOJ officials said they would resign en masse in order to publicly protest and call out trump's plot to appoint the stooge jeff clark as acting AG, who was ready to send the letter to georgia and other swing states.

this was not trump being a sore looser or aggressive or something. the dude outright was trying a coup. this is really bad. imagine the us military controlled by a trumpian monarchy 5 years from now. 

anyone thinking about voting for trump needs to have some sense shaken into them. ask yourself why would trump be so bent on a coup? it's weird, right? it's a bad situation and people don't realize how bad it is. they don't realize how fucked up of a dude he is. he is really, really fucked up.

so much is taken out of context.. he gave a 15 minute speech to campaign workers at a democratic campaign office and was giving  a pep talk on how to talk to people.. you should watch the full 15 minute speech which is on line somewhere.

we're talking about people who are making fools out of themselves by supporting trump. the objective is to raise awareness of how perfectly embarrassing it would be for anyone to support trump. we face a sociological problem and the solution is shame.

you folks already not voting for him need to despise him even more. trumpists need to feel that they are mistaken. it will be easier for people to realize if people show how they feel. and honestly there's a lot of information that a lot of people don't have, including people who are more well informed. 

decreasing turnout of trumpers is the play. this is a turnout election. and there is just a lot of low hanging fruit in terms of helping people realize the full extent of how darkly fucked up trump is.

This might work on some people and yeah, getting even one person to see reality is great, but IMO a lot of his base is so "pot-committed".  So much of their identity comes from supporting him, it's gonna take more than shame and facts to turn that tide.  Imagine what it would take for someone who is in so deep to admit that all that energy, effort, everything they've wrapped themselves in for the past 8+ years has been based on lies.

Not saying what you're doing isn't useful, but let's be real and think of other tactics as well.

I realize it a common conservative talking point that those tiki torch jews-will-not-replace-us white people from Charlottesville were actually undercover feds, which I do not buy. Definitely skeptical about this too, but I honestly believe the jury is still out on whether or not there were feds or confidential informants working on January 6th, some of whom may have even gone into the capital building. The conservative congressman Thomas Massie is the only person who brings this up routinely. I follow Massie on some other issues too, and while I do not always see eye to eye with him, he does not strike me as a conspiracy nut, seems like a regular politician (aipac also tried to oust him, according to this article, and he came out victorious)

Also, this article from march of this year (and the video above also talks about this), was about how there was a pipe bomb planted near democratic and republican national committee headquarters, planted on January 6th. Looks like the investigation of this has just dwindled with law enforcement no longer working the case.

All of this is of course fodder for conservative conspiracy theories and for people like those assholes in that picture riding around palm beach bays with nazi flags like a bunch of smooth brains, but imo still some unanswered questions about the pipe bomb and potential that plainclothes feds or confidential informants were working the capital on january 6th.

it's not surprising that fbi informants were at the capitol on january 6th of 2021. it would be surprising if there weren't. what's interesting is propagandists using that to distract people about what happened.
