please don't get mad at me fellas but I think if you watch the full 50 minute conference that zelensky is the one that fucked up here. Most of the time that trump speaks his emphasis is on ending the war and violence. Every time trump mentions Ukrainian soldiers, he mentions their bravery. He most likely did this all out in the open to let the Russians know, with full transparency, that zelensky is not ready to seek a diplomatic solution and wants to prolong the war, and maybe just as important he is letting Europe know that his admin has absolutely zero plans to continue military aid to Ukraine. If zelensky does not come back to do the deal, then Ukraine will have to continue its fight without US aid, and Europe at that point will have to deal with this on their own.

Someone help me out here. I genuinely do not understand how a president can go against the interests of multiple intelligence communities globally by being so blatantly compromised without any kind of accountability or consequence. Is he really just allowed to put full blown Russian assets into positions that can compromise the interests of democracy and the country? Like tulsi running the dni, voting with Russia  at the un… what the fuck is this shit and why is it just being allowed?

Seriously, what do you think, realistically, that the US has to ease tensions here and end the war? If Ukraine keeps fighting on its own without US military support, which is a real possibility after that zelensky/trump meeting, then their military forces will collapse very quickly. Even with continued support there is no guarantee that they won't collapse. Do you think that western Europe really gives a fuck enough about Ukraine to send troops from their own countries?

What do you think the outcome will be, or what do you think should be the alternative to doing a deal with the US at the table? If you are just going to ask me to fuck off without providing an opinion, or if you are just going to moralize about how you think trump is evil, then why even respond in the first place?

Not sure about you Silent Member, but I live in reality, I live on the earth. It was a brutal war and Russia had superior fire power and more people to throw in the meat grinder. They are not going to surrender when they are winning and when there is no prospect for Ukraine to retake those territories.
