So when is WATMM playing online? I'm online right now bored out of my ass. There's a new phrase for your asses! BAM. Anyway, here's a stupid thing: when you get 100% the ammo limit goes away, so I spent my remaining ~$1,000,000 on arming myself to the teeth and saved on a different file so I could load it up whenever and go on rampages and whatnot, but it turns out when you load the game your weapons will revert back to their respective limits. Good thing I saved it on a different file.

got an email saying i should have my 360 back by Friday.

been dying to play for weeks. these glitches look hella fun.

I'm not really fond of the multiplayer system. Most of the time I get disconnected before the game starts. Every time that happens I get sent back to singleplayer with loading times. I'm like trying like half an hour every time to get in a decent game. I put my Xbox 360 in a DMZ so I can bypass my firewall but it ain't helping.

hit me up when you see me online. I'm a level four now, got my crappy worthless zombie skin too. Turf War, Team Deathmatch and/or Race. Pete we gots to detonate ourselves with grenades on top of a tall building. Can we use cheats in multiplayer? I'd love to spawn some bikes on a skyscraper roof and let nature take its course...

i have the same problem. the only multiplayer match i've ever been able to join was a fuckin' lame race with 2 other randoms. everything else just disconnects before matchmaking or i get there and can't connect with anybody and just sit there waiting.

i've noticed that if someone is on the internet at all while i'm trying to connect it doesn't work, no matter how lite their surfing is (ie, wouldn't connect because my girl was checking her gmail). i think it has something to do with having your network settings on automatic instead of static. if you go to 'test network settings' on your xbox, run the test and check the results, if one of the items toward the bottom is listed as "strict", i think that's your problem. you can supposedly fix it by opening up some ports on your router and using a static IP or something, but i haven't tested it out because when i tried my browser kept pointing me to my modem settings page instead of my router.

pretty lame because this is one of the only multiplayer games that i would actually like to try.

NAT should be "open", is that the problem for either of you?

After logging about 30 hours into this, I inevitably got bored of it like I have done with every GTA i've played. Maybe I'll go back and play it more during the gaming dry spell after the summer releases.

I'm purposefully leaving the pigeons for a good few months.

Gotta stretch the game out.

I have a pretty fucked up setting because I'm playing at my room, using wireless but have no wireless xbox 360 adapter. Since my laptop is always on, I used bridge connections but that didn't go well with that NAT thing I guess. So now I managed to get ICS working, put my laptop in a DMZ and if I test the connection I get NAT Open and no more multiplayer problems. And I'm glad I'm rid of that friggin network bridge. Caused nothing but problems.

Only just got this and the thought of reading a 22 page thread is terrifying me. So sorry if this has been brought up before, but did anyone else find doing the first bike mission incredibly hard? Can't handle that thing for shit.

The motorcycles are easy to oversteer, especially while braking or slowing down. So yeah, it takes a bit of practice at first.

Yeah, I'm trying to follow that guy who is screwing the cokehead's daughter. Yet I keep fucking it right up. I was very close to throwing the controller across the room earlier!

a bit of advice, accuracy is more important than speed. just concentrate on not crashing, spinning out or getting stuck someplace and you'll be able to catch up with him - you don't actually have to drive that fast. you only have to follow him to a certain point and then he meets up with his homies and they retreat into the park where you can ditch the bike and take em down on foot.

Yeah, I'll admit I've got a little bored since I completed the story. I've only got the pigeons left now, about 150 of them, then I'm 100%. I always put my phone on silent (or whatever it is) because all the other characters annoy me now.

I'll enjoy it again when I start a new game for the alternate ending and use cheats throughout. And when I start playing online too.

in addtion to what cats said, don't bother trying to shoot him while you're in pusuit. you can't actually damage him till he meets up with his gang.

anyome know if you can get the 20-kills-with-a-pistol achievement using the Desert Eagle? I got so close last night, maybe 18 or 19, but I wasn't sure if it had to be the crap handgun to count.

I got that in a 60 minute game. Most tedious game I've ever played...

Well I got my Xbox back today and fired up some online.

is Free Mode broken or something? Every time I try to join it either throws me into a game on my own, or just disconnects me back to Single Player.

read a few posts up, it has to do w/ your network settings probably.

ive been having some really incredible multiplayer experiences here on the ps3. there are no network issues, ever. playing deathmatch with only rockets enabled is giving me PTSD.
