If there are any more HD remakes coming, Ico/Shadow of the Colossus is the most likely, with the Last Guardian coming out in Spring 2011.

Yes and he always talked about the Source engine as if they were going to - incrementally - build on it for a long time. But he also said they were doing "episodic content" to be able to do more frequent releases. It seems they're deviating from their plans a bit. I do not believe they are spending all this time on L4D 2, Portal 2 and EP3. The Orange Box was released almost 3 years ago. So I'm expecting/hoping for something bigger from Valve at E3.

This is right. I read too that there won't be HL:3, but just the final episode (3) of HL:2.

in january they did an interview with game informer i believe where they left it unclear whether they were going to make episode 3 or hl3.

they really should make hl3 because at this point the source engine just wont cut it, especially when weve been waiting 3 years...

I don't really care what they call it. I just hope it finishes the story, how can they leave us hanging at the end of episode 2 in that manner if they don't plan on continuing it. If HL3 is the next HL title, i hope that it starts off in the right place.

Portal 2's been delayed to 2011, so that might have changed.

got the "game" (or "interactive art" if you prefer) .detuned free with my Qore annual subscription (PSN video magazine) this month, and it's loaded with silver and a gold trophy, and easy as fuck to do - spent about 30 minutes unlocking all the trophies.

It's only 1.99 USD normally, so if the trophies are worth it to you, get it. It's weird.

One of the trophies is to play music off your PS3 HDD and use the controls to distort or "detune" it.

Makes perfect sense - already have the game engine, most, if not all of the needed character assets, etc. - just need to come up with new features* and a new storyline.

*sometimes those new features can take a long time, so it really depends on the situation
