Over the weekend...

Ichi the Killer - Fucking outstanding/10 Goddamnit go see it right now

Inland Empire - 7/10 Did not enjoy as much as MD, seemed like Lynch wanted to completely run away with the film, leaving you with an artsy puzzle fuck that "wraps up" at the end(predictable as fuck too). Becoming more of a fan of Lynch's works and this film pushed me a little towards that spectrum, but 3 FUCKING hours was a bit much for me.

Primer - 7.5/10 Good, liked the storyline as well as the acting, liked all of the engineering 101 references :mu-ziq:

Sideways - 6/10 For some reason I liked it when it came out, but watching it now just makes me  throughout the film. Giamatti fit the role but the script was complete shit. Too caviar and no comprendo bro. And that guy from george of the jungle, gets a high five, cuz he was from george of the jungle.

The Mothman Prophecies - 7/10 - i miss when american horror/thriller movies were this mysterious. By the end of the movie i still had no clue as to what happened, just a lot of really weird shit.

the suspense and creepy vibe was done well, Richard gere was pretty forgettable but he was like the glue that held the movie together. I recommend it if you get creeped out by unorthodox american horror movies like Stephen King's IT or the Sentinel

Pleasantly surprised by how genuinely scary this movie was.

heh, i watched that on television not long ago. it is pretty effective. dumb title though.

the troll hunter - cool concept and design but i'm really tired of the found footage concept. i think this could have been made without that aspect and probably would have been a better movie.

the social network

wasn't blown away. the characters weren't likable, and i feel i've seen many movies like it.

it was like some 20 something drama with a bunch of bullshit attached to it.

don't care/10

yeah, but wasn't it pretty and cool sounding?

I like the way it looks and I dig the soundtrack but the premise and characters killed it for me...

Didn't care about most of them.

White People Problems!

I did like Timberlake's character...

He was the only semi-interesting person in the film imo....

and Rashida "Mother Fucking" Jones, because she is amazing to look at and listen to....

Bleh, I could not agree more. Utterly cringeworthy.

Agreed once again.

that's a great one, i have to admit i was a little miffed that Quint can't tell the difference between something shopped/staged and actually behind the scenes. The one he put up by Hitchcock last week was a promotional doctored photo put out by MGM studios, but there he was again saying 'one of my favorite behind the scenes shot'

brent was so disgusting so odius he was very hard to like but you still did.

steve carrel boss is way too easily likeable.

i still laugh at the US version but its a totally different show, different humour. everytime i switch on the tv and its on my wife screams "why is the documentary crew still there??"

bloody good rep!

the first season of the us version was pretty much just a bad ripoff of the uk version, then it got better and better for a while, the last couple of seasons though has pretty much just been a soap opera.

I put a cherry on top.....BOOYAH...what the fuck did Ordell ever do for us, huh?

Just watched Kes an old English film. Not going to give it a score out of 10 but enjoyed it. Makes you want to move somewhere sunny lol.
