I think someone recommended it in this thread, finally dug out the bookmark again:

From Beyond

:lol: Loved it, the special effects, costumes and cliché role-play.

watching battlestar galactica again. best sci fi show ever/10 and i don't just mean the network (though its the only thing they've made that i've liked.)

Yes its a good show and the boardgame is awesome :emotawesomepm9:

...but I dont know if I´d rewatch it. The first seasons were great, after that Starbuck annoyed the shit out of me.

Also: Frack :facepalm:

Finally seen In Bruges 8/10. Enjoyed the atmosphere.

none of the people i live with have seen it and i have it in HD now so i figured i'd give it another go. starbuck does get kind of annoying but baltar ramps up the awesome pretty steadily. the weird jesus cult thing is hilarious.

True Grit.

Thought it was a bit overhyped tbh. An enjoyable 7/10 but not the epic I was expecting.

:facepalm::whistling:

Typical watmmer reactions.

How is it pretentious? Hip(ster) perhaps but why should that affect it's worth or enjoyment factor. - I thought it was a very accurate portrayal of a real relationship and the feelings involved and thats something almost no film gets right which is a worthwhile merit even if nothing else.

I think I remember Faust being better, but I could be wrong.
