of course its in a pine forest. its either a pine forest or a swamp. those are apparently the only two biomes that made it into 1.8

yeah don't pick a map at random - that will only increase the chances of the pussies complaining about starting a new map in 6 months.

In fact I'll wager to say that picking the right map is the most important decision for us to make. Judging from what people have said so far I'd make sure it:

- is close to a large ocean

- has some very interesting/dramatic mountains nearby

- has a river to wash away lumpy's tears

why does everything have to be NEARBY, just pick a random one and as long as yu dont spawn in the ocean its fine. if you dont like where the spawn is then go venture out and find a better place. DUH.

i'm playing all by my lonesome on the new 1.8 server. so set; so everyday...

here i took a couple screenshots of some areas in the watmm server theres some nice places but it is quite disappointing theres only 2 biomes it seems.

and the best thing about a new update with bigger biomes!!!

started playing on the new server tonight. mother goddamn fuck....

ok i restarted the server with a new random seed. looks interesting, spawn in ocean by a tiny island with one tree. haven't ventured out to see what's around.

if you guys don't decide on a seed together (agreement of at least, let's say, 5 players) in 24 hours, i'll pick a random world.
