Right, that's my feeling as well. Which is a bit unfortunate, as there are a *lot* of smart, creative people out there in the Minecraft fanbase.

Lol. That sounds like an amazing project. I'm thinking a really cheesey "We hope you enjoy your stay in Murveton" type video. But I'd want to have campy interviews and such, and text conversations wouldn't do that justic.

We are the music makers, we probably all have mics. for interviews, one could have footage of the person interviewed's avatar "talking" to the interviewer, and have it combined with a pre-recorded audio track of the interviewer and the interviewee's readings of their parts of the previously conducted text interview, if that makes any sense at all.

I'm down with that. They could tell a little bit about the building being shown in the film, and that's about it (to keep it shortish). Who has a beautiful interviewing voice/nice video taking software? I keep having problems with camstudio.

If we'd shoot it in separate shots, I'd be willing to edit it all together. I love editing.

i just took my first tour of the town today and im still in awe over this amazing place you guys have built. it just wouldn't end, i walked around for hours and kept discovering new things, from small things like kainis porn booth and "the human brain" to that huge twirly glass structure and the hotel etc. and i probably still haven't seen half of it. nuts!

You should go to the top of my tree house. it has the best view in town and a mini-coaster

which reminds me, I'm in the market for a mini-coaster, I'll have a gander at yours again to see how it's done

some guy has made a hardcore server. when you die you are banned from the server.

I think it would be awesome if we met up somewhere, made a village and worked towards killing everyone else.

Its a non pvp server but i figure we can be inventive, lava and gravel etc.

I'll contribute my redneck southern accent while I explain my castle thing that needs to be finished. There's some pretty specific things I did to it for a reason. I haven't just winged it. I'd prefer to finish it first...been really busy lately though. =\

I'd totally do a talk about my abandoned ObelCorp HQ and recently TNT'd house on the peninsula. Then a bit about my warehouse and why Endermen can suck my fucking balls.

I just spent a couple of hours on the server. It's amazing, people have made towns to live together in. Everyone's afraid of death and everytime someone dies they all say 'RIP'. It's seriously awesome, a great idea.

Its really hard to attack because they are all so close together. The great thing is, if you do kill someone alone, there is no way it can be traced back to you. That player is instantly banned.

i had a couple of chances where i could've unleashed tnt but I lost my nerve, cos of people around. Also i tried making a lava pit under someones house and digging underneath the player to get them to fall in it...failed miserably.

Anyway it's fucking fun!
