any ideas how I can build a stack of reasonably sized rooms underwater without losing every thread of sanity? I'm thinking I'll have to fill every block in from the bottom then dig it all out again. correct?

fill it in from the surface with gravel, dig out the middle, then wall off the exterior

that's one of the reasons why I avoid texture packs, a round star doesn't fit well in the game

Ya seriously that's part of the charm.

6 slabs. I like more building options. I bet most are nether related slabs for the new nether blocks. Just hope they also put in stairs for those blocks, the two go together pretty often.

Moon phase sounds cool I bet some sweet stuff happens on full moon nights.
