It probably decreases "Notch, stop being so fat and update" remarks. But it's replacing them with, "Wtf, Notch? Round moon is poop?".

I mean, actually, I kind of secretly want a round moon and sun. But I'm sensible enough to realize they don't match the minecraft aesthetic.

Yeah he kept breaking out, and I guess one day he finally succeeded.

i think the round sun and moon look 1000 x better, as someone who hated the default textures since the very begining of me playing mine craft.

if you get to the point where theyre not PIXELS any more thats where you have a problem. hers why they work as circles instead of squares and make even more sense.

because everything in mine craft is made of BLOCKS. just because its made of blocks doesnt mean everything is SQUARE. things in minecraft are designed after natural stuff. like trees are in the shape of trees. cactuses in the shape of cactuses. etc etc.

the moon and sun are so far away that you wouldnt be able to see their blocks and you will just see their shape.

thats what i have to say about that.

Agreed to an extent. I do think the moon should be less round and more blocky though (made up of squares, but not square itself). Square moon/sun was kind of boring imo.

i've thought this about a lot of features. have a civ-style menu when generating new worlds.

its really not a big deal at all.. anyone in their right minds uses a texture pack. if u dont like the outcome of this thing GET OVER IT
