Yeah I am happy actually as this does not require special blocks like the VW Bus I can just buy the blocks for half the price and build it myself.

I like how you could buy minecraft twice for that money. However buys this shit is a fool.

I get why Lego chose to do a landscape set. But I think a Creeper set would have been better. Just for the fact that you can enclose an m80 in it and blow it up.

I don't get Minecraft legos to the point of thinking there's something really wrong with me ...but: How in the fuck are you supposed to play with that? You cant dig things out. Seems the most pointless thing Lego have done ever and they've done some awkwardly stupid things in the last years.

This seems pretty interesting, Mojang are collaborating with Humble Bundle and currently creating a game from scratch, streaming the whole development live and then releasing it in 60 hours. Like anything Humble Bundle you can pay what you want to play the game when it's finished.

Just watched the end of that, there were 27,000 people watching the livestream at the end, and altogether they raised about $430,000 for charity. The game looks pretty good too.

Also this week: Minecraft passed 5million sales, and there was the whole notch-offering-to-fund psychonauts 2 thing (or was that the week before?)

Notch strikes me as someone who unexpectedly got thrust into fame and fortune and has been able to scale well with it. His Mojang friends all seem pretty cool too.
