Notch strikes me as someone who unexpectedly got thrust into fame and fortune and has been able to scale well with it. His Mojang friends all seem pretty cool too.

Yeh they all come across as really nice people, must be awesome to work there. It's a shame they don't need an alcholic bum at mojang.

i've started playing dwarf fortress now. minecraft is a mere gateway drug to this shit.

what's interesting is there's a util to turn a DF map into a minecraft map though, just about to start fucking about with it.

I feel that I should do this, but since I program in qbasic I am worried that if I were to play it I'd switch my style to something like Dwarf Fortress.

they protect villagers and you can craft them with iron blocks and pumpkins (like snow golems)

we totally have to populate murveton with villagers at some point. They breed now
