P.S. never had beam rye P.S.S. bourbon = the best i've mainly been drinking it in bars so i couldn't tell you how much a bottle is for sure. i think the beam rye was about £17 for a bottle. Guest Iain C
not much of a scotch drinker, but i was out in a pub tonight watching a colleague's amateur comedy performance and i helped myself to a double measure of Macallan's 15yo single malt: my lord, that was a tasty whisky. Guest Iain C
currently drinking a nice strong gin and tonic. the gin is only Bombay Sapphire which I'm not too keen on - i'd rather have Plymouth - but it's the best my Sainsburys Local had. still, it's a gin and tonic. the best long drink. kokoon
i'm just finishing a bottle of Glenfarclas 10. it started out (the bottle) as a pleasant sweet vanilla scented highland malt. now towards the end it feels almost too fruity. i'm glad it's over so i can move on. you say Macallan is good, it's been on my list for a while now... which one should i try? tbh i was looking towards Glenmorangie 10 but i might go with Macallan instead. The Macallan 12 sherry oak is ridiculously smooth. It's not going to impress scotch snobs with complexity but it's perfect for a daily drinker or for company. baph
Yeah, love the doublewood!
