£11.99 for each fucking 12'' single - every couple of weeks ?! Radiohead, you've had enough money from me, now start pricing things properly again ....

EDIT: Though that Caribou remix of Little By Little is insanely good !

EDIT2: As is the other remix

I haven't eaten a Wagon Wheel since 07/11/07... ilovecubus.co.uk - 25ml of mp3 taken twice daily.

Quite, Radiohead seem to have absolutely no qualms about fleecing anyone who wants to own their records. Glad I got one off Boomkat instead.

Agreed. Bollocks to 12 quid for this. If it was a BoC mix one side and Ae the other then fine.

Rip off.

This is the best thing I've heard from them since In Rainbows. I thought I just couldn't listen to them anymore, now I know that I was not so fond of those last two albums just because of the music !

also I don't really dig Burial. Though I recently heard the first track from the last ep and I thought it was very good.

That's the stuff right there. Coolness.

i'm going to bet on the fact that there's gonna be a thom guest vocal on at least one track on the fabled next burial album. these two fellas seem to be living in each other's pockets recently.

edit: also, fucking props. it seems like every time i have a look at radiohead stuff they're road-testing new songs. that's how you do it.

edit2: is there anyone left who is unconvinced radiohead is now a thom yorke project where there's a bunch of immensely talented musicians and ed o' brien along for the ride? it's not a bad thing, but it's fucking truth.

I disagree. front men always are the focal point of a band and can be easily seen as running the show but I have no doubt there is a shit ton of input from all of them. there are no slouch artists in the band.

but I am loving loving this direction.

pigster I am coming to Australia to hang at the show, you got an extra right?

actually you know what kaini, maybe I just don't want to think that...

I'd be surprised if Jonny Greenwood didn't manage to get some of his input into the music given how immensely talented he is with composition, but I can totally see Thom being the guy who shoots down everyone else's ideas when he doesn't like them. As far as stylistic choices goes he's steering the ship I reckon, alongside Nigel Godrich whose influence on their sound is undeniable, far beyond just being the guy that mixes. He's pretty much a member of the band. I can't even imagine what a new Radiohead album would sound like with another producer at the helm.

there's definitely jonny stuff here and there considering his love of bbc radiophonic and weird classical stuff. but i think it is for the most part thom's show now. and good point about godrich. they used to call george martin the fifth beatle. similar kinda thing.

It seems to me that there's something not quite right with Thom Yorke over the last couple of years. The King Of Limbs album is more than a little unusual and the performance last night was also quite odd in places. I've seen them many times live and it all felt very different this time. Little bit too relaxed for my liking. Also Thom with all this dubstep love and so much time committed to dj appearances and getting remix artists together along with the fucking weird outfits and ridiculous hair all screams midlife crisis to me. There's still enough golden quality shining through it all to keep me loving them but I am a little worried I must admit. One blatantly obvious problem thats pretty much impossible to ignore now is that sadly he just can not sing anywhere near as well as he could even 5 years ago. I've seen a lot better shows than last night but I had a good time and I'm still looking forward to tomorrow night.

Much better 2nd time round. Nice setlist, played Identikit again and this time we got Myxomatosis so I was happy. Better crowd too. Most memorable thing is how much confidence Thom has on stage these days. A very different man now.
