Checked it out last night, wound up watching all six of the available episodes. Such a cool and imaginative sci-fi series. Also, it’s nice to see some animation outside of Japan that’s not targeting adolescents. I was pretty skeptical about it after hearing how HBO’s Velma turned out, but this is really cool so far.

it’s not. interesting ideas and moments, some really unique but most were just rehashed mashups of scifi tropes. they had no real plan and it really shows and hurts the momentum towards the end of S1 and becomes terribly clear in S2. 2nd half of S2 was just garbage.

ah ok. it looks like a nice idea for a movie but I guess you can't stretch the premise along several seasons

Just finished Station Eleven.  Had no idea of its existence until randomly seeing it on a streaming service.  Thoroughly enjoyed it.  I'm a sucker for post-apacolypse sci fi, and it's a very emotional watch.

That new series of Time on BBC,absolutely amazing, got me right in the town criers , it was better than the first one and that wasn't too shabby, Bella Ramsey from The Last Of Us was brilliant in it among other great performances

marvel avengers and loki spoiler:

Disney is in trouble as the main antagonist they are currently building for their next major Avengers movie faces legal charges and now they might get rid of him having to rewrite their next blockbuster:

I am pretty curios if they just do some sort of faceswap or if they kill him entirely

I love the book and the mini series, but I'm not feeling this trailer at all.

Not sure about the cast, though Hiroyuki Sanada is wicked, the actor playing Lady Mariko is jarring.

Started watching The Blacklist with James Spader. Perfect brain pablum for when you don't want to think. Crank suspension of disbelief up to 11 to enjoy properly.

i watched the first ep. i’m always hesitant to watch something like this )call it anime or whatever) but when i hit a really good one it’s just amazing how limitless people’s imaginations can be and how animated shows are really only bound by the creativity and talent of the people working on it… compared to other shows/movies etc it just feels infinite which is pretty inspiring

Trying to find a place to watch The Shield as it's been on my list for years. Subscribed to Apple because google said it was streaming but have to pay £11 extra a season to watch it. Not a happy bunny. It use to be on Channel 4 but was taken down. Bummer.

yeah it gets really weird over time. It pushes the standards concerning animated Sci-Fi to a point that most amines on Netflix  just look boring

I quite liked this one at the start mostly due to James Spader (been a fan since that lawyer show which's name I can't recall), but it runs out of ideas quite fast. I think I gave it up around the third season. Can't believe it's still going on.

Yeah I’m only on episode 14 or something and they’ve already basically exhausted all the tropes. I actually laughed at the Japanese guy holding a fucking sword in the middle of the street in Tokyo.
