What TV series are you watching at moment?

this show should usher the beginning of the end for civilization, and it's actually pretty addicting (as it should be). it's basically squid game lite (games minus the deaths) with fake "real" people reduced to numbers getting "eliminated" while forcing contestants to plot against one another in (predictably) unscrupulous fashion

yeah the final episodes are really epic. I really hope they do another season. I really like how they throw plots at you that seem familiar but then twist them into a  completely different outcome

started watching it on the weekend but I have the feeling this really needs to be watched in one go when all episodes are released 

 The new  David Tennant Dr. Who started also last weekend but it didn't grab my attention as much as I wished it would do. still on the list

This was one of the best anime I've seen. So good. Good there are a tonne of spin offs and sequels.

I liked Blue Eye Samurai and I can't really stand anime in general. So that makes sense. I think the last actual anime series I liked was Samurai Champloo or Cowboy Bebop.

the signal to noise ratio for anime is extremely low. over 90% of it is garbage. but the good stuff is truly great.

yeah fuck all those children’s animes. I’ve been watching a bunch of solid animes on Tubi, I recommend it.

Anime just means animation, at least in Japan. Computer-generated or hand drawn, doesn't matter.

yes but there's close to none Japanese people involved in this... one of the creators is mixed race, Japanese/American and that's it...

apparently only Japanese people call anime to every kind of animation (wiki)... foreigners all refer to it as anime... we on the same page I think... if Japanese people call Scooby Doo or The Flintstones anime, then the joke is on them...:)
