books and computer games work really well. also just going outside and enjoy the sun. Last time trump got into power I bought my kindle and guess what I took out first once he was back.

the developers of Celeste did cancel their new ambiguous project Earth Blade in January, lost a team member due to copyright disputes and are planing to only work on smaller projects in the future but nothing is certain (guess they made enough money with Celeste to not really want to do crunch again). They also said they failed because they wanted it to be even better than celeste which exhausted them even more.

so I guess the fan mods Celeste Strawberry Jam and Spring Collab is all we are going to get in the near future. They sadly only run on Steam and not on the Switch

I pause my games to shout Fuck Trump! Free Palestine! Kill Elon! every 15 seconds, unfortunately nothing has changed for the better, so far.

got tunic as well - finally some really nice games that I like to play on the switch as it mostly was just laying around the last year even though I bought new games from time to time but nothing really hooked me and waiting for the switch 2 made it even worse 

It's more on the 'UNO MAS' spectrum of addictiveness because its so easy to get started and you rage so much when you lose because "if only i had just a lil better luck" or "if only i hadnt made that one mistake" or "lets try to get really far this time" and suddenly you played 10 consecutive runs and still thinking "ok just one more quick one, last one i promise"

Dead By Daylight Mobile folded for good today. It was the only game I played and I’ve been playing every night for years. I was dialed in and pretty good at survivor mode. 
I was planning to transfer my game profile to another platform but didn’t get it together to do so because I didn’t have another platform. I was hoping to at least get in one last game before it shuttered but the day got busy and I didn’t get a last chance to play.
Kinda sounds silly but it was a pretty big part of my life routine and it was really a huge source of comfort. Feeling a bit numb. 

Tunic is really amazing. I never had so much fun since the last Zelda

Way of the Hunter a lot. Enjoying scenery. Hunting not so much. 

I just reinstalled Fallout 4, even though I already put 1000+ hours into it over the past decade. Some older games just never lose their appeal I guess.

I’ve had it on my PlayStation forever, but I’m afraid of the time sink.  I just occasionally load up the main menu and back out after reflecting on the sad state of my midlife

I was on the fence with that one and just missed out on it being dirt cheap in a recent Steam sale. Oops.
The same devs (Teyon) put out a pretty solid Terminator game in late 2019 though - reminiscent of FO4 in some ways. I can tell they have a thing for 80s sci-fi action flicks.

It's already been three years since I touched Cyberpunk (before Phantom Liberty) though. I might wait til this summer to play it again.

I beat Neva, new game from the makers of GRIS. Art style is so good. Fun, but short like GRIS.

About to dig into Assassin's Creed Shadows.
