How come there isn't more talk of Deathsmiles, it's the first Cave Shmup to be released on a US console if I'm not mistaken. No love for Bullet Hell?

i used to be such a shmup junkie, years ago, didn't even know cave was still active, guess i should check it out, donpachi and dodonpachi were awesome.

Yeah dude check it out, I also bought Sin And Punishment: Star Successor, but I haven't cracked it open yet. I fucking love Treasure too.

Basically it goes like this developer wise(no order):

Treasure

Skip

Clover

Platinum Games

Sony

Nintendo

Sega AM-2

I may be leaving some out, but most of my favorite games are made by those developers.

I lost my save file for LittleBigPlanet when my ps3 stopped working. So I've gotta go back and start from scratch again. Which isn't so bad, cuz it's a fun game.

I'm on chapter 5 of Alan Wake and getting a little bit bored. Some of the battles are really fun and it can be quite eerie at times, but a lot of the game is just really tedious in my opinion. And the cheesy ass dialogue was cute at first and has since just gotten bad. Max Payne is a way better game.

that's what I said mayne

people are still doing amazing things with it too, but I've only recently just gotten into the game but its really interesting and fun. Somebody made a level modeled after the art style of Limbo.

I'm finally getting into Skate 3. But I'm starting to get really annoyed by the event announcers, the constant cheesy atmosphere, the shitty online multiplayer and limited single player. The controls are brilliant but that's about it.

Still fighting in the street (Super Street Fighter IV), trying to find time to go back to Dead Space to beat it on Impossible. Considering other titles I haven't gotten all the trophies for and getting a few here and there as time permits.

You have good taste in games my good man. Those are all top developers. Some more that should be on your list are:

Arika

Namco

Of course, that's only if you like puzzle games (which I adore).

I like the Akira version of Tetris - I wish it would come out on a console...

skate 3 was the buggist bag of shit i ever wasted money on. i was hoping for so much more but got severely ripped off. brought new, for £27 resold it the next day for £8 in the same place, they couldnt give me a full refund becase nothing was wrong with the actual game. (apart from it being a buggy and crappest framerate ive ever seen on the 360)

I like quite a few of Arika's games, I just downloaded Metal Torrent for the DSi lastnight and I really enjoy it for 5 bucks. I also liked Technic Beat on the PS2. I have Endless Ocean and the Dr. Marios for Wii and the DSi as well.

As for Namco, I'm sure there are games they've developed that I really like, but I can't recall anything right now.

I love 90s era Konami as well.

Impressive. There are a ton of awesome levels out there. BTW you should heart me and my levels. I'm trying to get the create trophy. I'll of coarse return the favor.

The Tetris the Grandmaster series is probably the greatest series ever made. I've been playing them for years on my arcade machine. They are the deepest tetris games ever made. The highest achievement in every game is Grandmaster (GM). I'm a GM in TGM1. TGM2 is WAY harder though. You have to play it for YEARS to earn GM. Right now I'm S7, which is 4 ranks away from GM. It will probably take me at least 2 or 3 more years to reach it. Yes, it's that hard. And that good!

Starting to burn out on Alien Swarm after 26 hours, I'll probably go back to it once in a while but I'm content with 10,000 kills for now.

Been doing more PC gaming recently, my friend introduced me to the source mod Empires, a hybrid FPS/RTS. It's fucking class, very good to play a game that doesn't pay off being a one man army. Difficult to get your head around at first, but great fun with a good community.

Any players here?

The Saboteur.

I'm some hours into the game, and so far, the game is a lot more fun than expected it to be.

But sadly, it just kind of feels like a poor mans Assassins Creed. The animations, graphics, controls, etc. are not very good. But The setting is so awesome, fighting nazi's in German occupied Paris.... why haven't this been done before?

Had this game been more polised, it would have been fucking amazing.

starcraft 2

With the way I'm evolving my studio, improvising music has become just as immediately entertaining and fast paced challenging as an intense multiplayer game with my friends. I'm hoping this keeps up and multitasking music creation stays more entertaining than videogames. Probably wont though and I will go back to being unproductive by means of steam powered entertainment. I really should just cancel my internet and remove my steam from my hard drive... the idea almost seems smart until a week from now when I realize I need it back.. god damn unproductive entertaining addictions
